Designs in 1969, after working six years with
an artifical import/manufacturing floral company, Dale
Stansbury decided to open his own business, creating
DalMarko Designs."
DalMarko Designs' first location was on La Brea Avenue
in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Stansbury began his
work with live and artificial plants creating interiorscapes
for commercial and residential projects. Also, at this
time, he began to work with set designers in Hollywood
doing such sets as, "The Glass Bottom Boat",
"Absent Minded Proffessor", "The Beverly
Hillbillies", "Petticoat Junction", "Green
Acres", and "The Juliet Prowse Show". And
As business continued to grow, in 1974, the decision
was made to move to a 10,000 square foot facility on
Pico Boulvard and Orange Drive in Los Angeles. Now with
the capability to manufacture on a larger scale, DalMarko
Designs began to expand into larger interiorscape projects
such as the Internation Airports in San Jose, Honolulu,
Tampa, and many more. It was at this time Mr. Stansbury
created the preserved Dracena Plant. The Preserved Dracena
is the best selling plant in DalMarko's history, and
has been featured on the covers of "House Beautiful"
and "Better Homes and Gardens".
With the beginning of the 80's, Mr. Stansbury created
an explusive line of flowers, sachs, soaps, and ornaments
for Liberace, giving DalMarko Designs its first opportunity
in the Las Vegas area, by designing the plants and flowers
for th "Liberace Show".
